My name is Vicky Chan, Chinese name Chui Ying. Borned in Hong Kong on the 26th January 1974 in a hospital in Happy Valley. I am the elder of the two daughter of my parents. I was brought up in Hong Kong. I left only when I was 17. I did part of my primary school in St. Paul's Convent school in Causeway Bay, then I changed to True light Middle Schoo for the rest of the primary school studies and also my 5 years secondary school studies, of which I had a very enjoyable time and made some very good friends. In July 1991, I arrived in Holland with my parents, my sister and my grandma. We settled down in Rotterdam. I continued my cert level and A-Levels in the British school in the Hague. I did Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in A-Levels. Then I changed my direction totally to Business. From 1994 to 1998, I studied European Business in ISER (HES Rotterdam) and University in Portsmouth. After that, I studied 6 months of Dutch, and finally I found a job in a Japanese trading company called Nichimen. After 2 years, I found a new job in a Dutch chocolate company called Steenland, which I started my second job from the 26th Feb, 2001. This was taken after my first dancing exam in the metro. Flowers were from my dancing partner, of course. To thank me for dancing with him! :-) |
